Mission Statement

Laurelwood Pediatrics is a group of board certified pediatricians, well-trained nurses and an office staff dedicated to providing the best medical care in a thoughtful and compassionate manner.  Our mission is to provide each of "our" children with the most advanced medical care and to treat each child as a unique individual, with sensitivity to his or her stage of physical and emotional development, and with consideration for the family and surrounding environment. We understand that the development of a child from newborn to young adulthood is a dynamic process with complex and often rapid changes. We also understand that a child's physical health can be intricately affected by his or her environment - the family, the home, the school, and the community. Additionally, medical practice itself is a dynamic process, with continual scientific and clinical advancement. The Laurelwood pediatricians are committed to keeping abreast with the most current medical practice in order to provide all Laurelwood families with the best possible
pediatric care.

Payment Policy

We are committed to providing you with the best possible medical care. If you have insurance, it is our goal to help you receive the maximum allowable benefits. Payment for services is due at the time services are rendered unless payment arrangements have been approved in advance by our staff. If you have a designated co-pay or deductible, we ask that these be paid at the time of service as well. We accept cash, checks, Discover, VISA and Mastercard. We will file your insurance claim as a convenience and courtesy to you. Please understand that as your medical care provider, our relationship is with you, not your insurance company. Also, please be aware that certain services may not be considered as a covered benefit based on the terms of your insurance policy. If you are uncertain if well child exams, required immunizations and certain screening procedures are covered, please contact your insurance provider for clarification of your coverage. You are financially responsible for any services denied as non-covered. If problems should arise, we encourage you to contact us promptly for assistance with your account. If you have questions, PLEASE do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help you.
