Dr. Lana Yanishevski
Dr. Lana was born in Kiev, Ukraine and moved to Memphis in 1991. She completed her medical school and internship in Kiev. She then successfully passed the US Medical Licensure Exams and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee. She joined Laurelwood Pediatrics in August of 1998.
Dr. Lana is a Board certified pediatrician and is a Fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). She also is a member of multiple sections within AAP such as International and Domestic Adoption, Telephone Medicine. Her special interests are developmental and behavioral pediatrics, nutrition and obesity, alternative medicine. She is also a member of Tourette Syndrome Association, Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation, The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network.
Dr. Lana has won a Patients Choice Award, AMA Physician Recognition Award for continuing medical education, UT Recognition Award for Dedicated Service Rendered on behalf of the education of Medical Students, Who’s Who Professional of the Year Award in Pediatric Medicine Industry.
Dr. Lana lives in Germantown with her husband, Yuri and their two sons, David and Andrew. She enjoys reading, adventure travels, theater and art.
