A major part of our job as pediatricians is to help our patient’s parents raise and care for their generally well children.
When you come to the office for checkups much of the time will be spent talking about your child’s physical growth, diet, behavior and developmental milestones. In addition, we will talk about developmental events that your child should accomplish soon and ways you can help those along. These regular checkup visits are important not only during the first few years of your child’s life but remain important annually as he grows up.
The pages that are linked here contain some good general information about the well care of your child and may help should you have questions that come up between regularly scheduled well visits.
