Flu Vaccines

It's not too late for seasonal flu vaccines.  The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that all children receive a flu vaccine each year.  If your child has a checkup scheduled this fall, he may receive the flu vaccine during that visit.  Otherwise, you may call and schedule an appointment with the nurse for this vaccine.  

For kids 2 and up who do not have asthma, the nasal FluMist is available.  For others, the flu shot is also available.  

Most insurance plans will cover the cost of the flu vaccine without a copay requirement.  If you have questions about your plan's coverage our billing department can help you.  We can also administer flu vaccines to adult caregivers, but cannot file insurance for those adults.  The cost of the shot for adult caregivers is $30, or $35 for the mist.
